Joan Teo has over ten years of experience in the areas of training administration, human resource management and events management.

Her experience in events includes managing work from planning to marketing and operation. The types of events she has carried out include seminars, workshops, conferences and exhibitions, job fairs, membership drive events, staff events, board meetings, regional-heads meetings, service launches, community service projects and fund-raising projects like jog-a-walk, gala charity ball, etc. for non-profit organisations. She was also one of the representative members in the operation committee in backroom operation work for casual labour deployment in the first WTO Ministerial Conference in Singapore for a venue provider.

In the area of training, she has helped numerous clients in identifying training needs for inhouse training and also has coordinated numerous People Developer consultancy works leading to companies receiving the PD Awards. Her experience includes design and development of training workshops, seminars and conferences and training delivery in programmes such as Training Administration, Event Management, Admin Writing Skills, Certified Human Resources Administrator (CHRA), etc.

Her HRM background includes experience in executive recruitment, staff welfare and benefits management, specifically on matters of medical leave, medical, dental and insurance benefits. She has also drafted the latter policies and procedures.

Joan holds a Master degree in Social Sciences (Applied Sociology), Bachelor of Arts (Communication and Sociology) and Certificate in Management Studies.

Carina Tien has over 20 years of corporate experiences in various multinational companies. Her experience and exposure include customer relations, human resources, training & development, sales administration, secretarial, advertising and business development.

In her previous appointment as the Membership Manager of a US renowned financial association, Carina travelled to many parts of Asia to expand her membership base. Some of her clients include Agricultural Bank of China, AmInvestment Bank Bhd, Axis Bank Ltd, Bank of China and China Construction Bank just to name a few. In addition, she had also worked closely with various financial regulators in Asia such as People's Bank of China and Reserve Bank of India, organizing financial seminars for the association to these institutions.

Carina is also a certified Life Coach. Her specialty is on guiding and supporting women through many transitions of their life and enabling them to become the woman they were truly meant to be. Carina specializes in conducting workshops on communications skills, personal goal setting, personal image, grooming and deportment, business networking and etiquette, customer service as well as career transition and salary negotiation. Her training focuses on the human transformation through experiential learning, coaching and facilitation.

Besides training and facilitation, Carina is also an extremely versatile music practitioner with more than 10 years of teaching experience as well as more than 20 years of immense knowledge on the art of singing and performing and has been a regular performer for The Esplanade since 2003. With her experiences and passion in performing arts, she is willing to share her skills and knowledge with her students. She has students from different nations, such as France, Philippines, Thailand, United Kingdom, China as well as neighbourhood country, Malaysia.

Carina received her Degree in Business & Human Resource Management from UK. She also processes Diplomas in Communication Studies, Advertising and Business Administration as well as an Advanced Certificate In Training & Assessment (ACTA). She is effectively bilingual in English, Mandarin and local dialects.

Elaine Heng has worked in both government agency and private sector. She has garnered extensive working experiences in marketing communications, public relations, event management and business development.

She was the Marketing Services Manager (ASEAN/South Asia) of a multinational company in charge of the marketing communications for seven countries. Her responsibilities included fostering and maintaining good working relationship with the press media, managing all initiatives/programs related to product promotions including advertising and demand generation activities, liaising with design houses and advertising agencies to craft out branding messages and tactical promotions. She was also involved in major IT shows, product launches and sponsorship roadshows such as Female Magazine 50 Gorgeous People Roadhunt.

Elaine is also a Image Consultant and was featured in Elle magazine, Newman magazine, Female magazine, Mypaper, GeThat magazine and interviewed by Simply Her magazine, Mediacorp 93.3FM and 95.8FM for her expertise in image consultancy.

Elaine holds a 2nd upper honours degree from National University of Singapore and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
